When are you planning to tell your job?

I told my boss at 6 weeks. My thought was, "If it goes well, great! If I have a miscarriage, that's the card life deals me. They'll need to know in order to support me during that."

I totally understand wanting to keep it private until it's more certain. I did that with my first. But I'm at the point now where I think the world needs to understand that miscarriages are not shameful secrets that happen to only a select few. They're common, and while tragic, unavoidable sometimes. I won't hide my pain to make others more comfortable.

Again, TOTALLY understand keeping it private. But this time around if I have to suffer through losing this wanted baby, everyone else can worry about themselves. I'm not gonna do it for them, I'll already be going through enough! lol
