When was the moment you knew?

When the 1989 World Tour movie was released on Apple Music!! I had bought Fearless and TS in high school and really liked them, and then kind of stopped paying attention except for the singles on Speak Now and Red (and was kind of annoyed with 22 because everyone I knew was turning 22 during its peak). Then I bought 1989 on iTunes immediately after hearing Style, and then went and bought the Target edition too for the bonus tracks and loooved Wonderland because I was in that sort of relationship at the time. And then that relationship ended and I kind of clung to the whole album more (and re-visited all of Red), but when the tour movie came out on Apple Music THAT was THE moment because it just felt really empowering to think about what it would be like to be up on the stage in front of that many people and absolutely kill it, and I was still feeling sucky about the breakup and was also in the middle of doing grad school applications at the time and it just like weirdly gave me a ton of confidence for that too (and I've since moved across the country and gotten my master's so I guess it helped?). I sobbed the first time I watched the tour movie and still watch it like monthly and cry a little every time.

And now reputation means a lot to me because it came out a few months in to what is now a mutually-agreed-upon forever relationship and I remember sobbing in my car to Delicate a few days after the album came out because I liked my now-boyfriend so much. And then a few months ago being in the car with him with King of My Heart on and us just smiling to each other (and he doesn't even like Taylor). I'm a full-blown swiftie and can NOT wait for TS7 and I hope it's full of love songs because she expresses my feelings better than I do!!
