I am also a fan of both Taylor and John and I agree the hate some Swifties spew at him (even in this thread) is way over the top. People treat him like he's a literal r*pist or something.

Y'all are way too liberal with the word predator. What JM did to Taylor was scummy and I don't think anyone is defending how he treated her. However is he far from the first or the last guy to date a significantly younger woman. At the end of the day they were both legal adults and consenting. He didn't do anything against the law and we don't even know the whole story of what happened between them.

Bill Cosby and Trump are predators. John Mayer is a douchebag at worst. That doesn't warrant the nasty abuse and threats I've seen him receive from some Swifties.
