I literally had to come on Reddit to see actual non band wagoning opinions on this topic bc tik tok is flooded w/ delusional, hypocritical, chronically online selenators & Jelena fans who knit pick at everything & conveniently ignore whatever doesn’t fit their narrative. I don’t care for celebrity drama but this one in particular is so interesting to me simply bc of how people are so obviously picking one side only because they hate hailey, the one they view as “the other woman”. Meanwhile it’s painfully obvious that Selena often throws rocks & hides her hands. & she doesn’t even hide them well, she’s just lucky enough to have a fan base that will go to war to make excuses for her. Also… on one hand, it’s her crazy fans defending everything thing she does. On the other hand, I wouldn’t be surprised if some people are just defending her & enjoying the hailey bieber hate train bc they’re projecting their own feelings & experiences of a failed romantic relationship where “the other woman” got the man. Idk this is all so interesting. I’ve never seen someone have such a chokehold on so many people, let alone grown adults. Some people are even still obsessed with Jelena, which is truly the root of the drama. At the end of the day, I don’t like or dislike either of them, so I’m just speaking from observation. I have a lot more to say but I’ll keep it at that.
