I'm not saying it applies to everyone, but the people who specifically says things like "Who?" or something similar rather than just doing a 5 second google search just seems like they're trying to show just how much they don't care about X or how he's irrelevant and it just seems forced.

If it was a celebrity that was generally liked (or at least not disliked by half of reddit) you definitely wouldn't see comments asking the question of "Who's that?" because it seems disrespectful but since it's X and reddit doesn't like him, I guess the disrespect is warranted in their eyes.

I don't think the guy deserves really deserves any respect at all but if you wanna disrespect him at least make it obvious rather than disguise it as apathy.

I shouldn't care this much, im deleting this comment in 20-30 minutes because i feel embarrassed for caring this much just wanted to make my point if there is any
