My favorite stories I get by well meaning people trying to comfort me are the ones that go like: “oh I knew a couple who tried for years and years and doctors told them it was impossible but then magically once they stopped trying it happened and they had a miracle baby”

Like great so a) you’re telling me, to uplift me, that I probably have even more years of unsuccessful trying to look forward to, and b) you’re implying the fact that I’m trying is the problem lmao

Guys no one here is infertile we all just need to stop trying!! See you all with our miracle babies in 20 years. I hope they’ll let the baby into my retirement community
