Which celebrity did you meet and found they were much kinder/ruder than you expected?

I've worked in the music business for a long time...met 100s of famous musicians (everything from rap, and metal to classic rock and perennial favorite) and some actors, etc. I've been asked this question so many times and I always try to give the canned response: "I get to meet some of these (famous) people for 4-8 hours on any given day of their lives...maybe they are in a great mood, which could be a typical or I could meet them on a day they are having a really crappy do, so it's not really fair for me to judge."

But it's the end of 2020 and I'll dump some of my thoughts, but remember my encounter could have been 10 years ago, so maybe the person has changed/grown since then or whatever:

- Beyonce (while with Destiny's Child): raging diva, just rude
- Michael Jackson: weird, really weird, seriously like a toddler in a big body - P!nk: incredibly polite, gracious and appreciative of the support teams - Tony Kenning (drummer for Def Lepard) - I happened to be working with them on a really crazy hot summer day, my day started at like 4AM happened to be in front of (or on) their tour bus in the early afternoon...I think I started to pass out (heat exhaustion), Tony jumped to my aid, helping me to a seat directly under the A/C, getting me a liter of iced cold water...and I remember him telling me to chill until I felt better...so we sat and talked for 5-10 minutes while the baseball game played on the TV in the background. - Don King: pushy, rude, working for his agenda and not willing to follow the venue rules - Richie Sambora: actually helped him "escape" an uncomfortable situation with Don King (see above) which resulted in just the two of us alone backstage on a grassy hill in Philadelphia, we ended up talking for about 25-30 minutes before his sound check about a recent trip he made to the UK (I'd been there previously too) and just a down to earth guy, felt like 2 old friends hanging out - Sean Combs: actually worked with him twice in 5 days, he remembered me at the second event by name, welcomed me with a hug and handshake, very professional, treated the event like a business meeting -Don Cheadle: friendly and always took a moment to say HI to a fan - Jason Newsted: while James and Lars are surrounded by personal security backstage at a Metallica show, Jason (former bassist before Rob) was just hanging out in catering and had no issues sitting down next to a stranger (me) and just shooting the shit while we ate a very tasty meal
