Which one do you prefer?

I do not have a strong opinion about this but I listened to Harry Potter in the voice of Jim Dale without the knowledge that Stephen Fry version exists. Very very good. Then I found the Fry version and re-listened to Book 1. 2 things happen when you listen to Stephen Fry, 1) it feels more like audio drama than a spoken book, evoking emotion at places when there is little in terms of the book 2) the whole material sounds aged, as if happening in 1960s instead of 2000s. HP avoids mention of technology for most part of the book, and that helps amplify the sense of agedness of the material. I don't know if it is a general feeling,

My rating for these 2, Dale 8.5/10, Fry 9.5/10.
