Which do you prefer as your source of info and walkthroughs: Gamebanshee, the Baldur’s Gate wiki, or another site?

The wiki is okay, a bit disjointed and lacking some detail

You can say that the wiki is disjointe, that you don't like the format or whatever, but you cannot complain that it's lacking detail. It has far more than any other site (and, in fact, far more than most people realize).

For example, in no other site can you find technical details about how the "oops, wrong spell" wild surge works or any mention of the fact that Sendai has a natural luck score of +4 (meaning that, for example, if you lower her Magic Resistance to 0%, a level 20+ Cleric will still always do either 20 damage to her, if she fails the save, or 10, if she doesn't).

It's also updated constantly 'til this day.

Gamebanshee has up-to-date info

It's not. For example, the Shapeshifter page doesn't mention that Greater Werewolves now get a regen of 1hp/2secs, after the 2.6 patch (which was a while ago).

I use gamebanshee exclusively for the SoD guide if I ever decide to replay SoD (cause it has that annoying thing where you get locked out of previous areas as you progress).

I can see the old guides on gamefaqs being helpful.

At this point, they're more unhelpful than helpful.

The fact that many people here are saying they still use the FAQs there (for these games specifically, I'm not complaining about the whole site, which I use for other games) explains a lot about all the misconceptions, outdated info and straight-up wrong takes (cause some of those FAQs were written before we actually knew how some things worked behind-the-scenes) many people have about a lot of things.
