Who came up from the bottom?

Hard work, being positive, having discipline

Can’t overstate the discipline thing

You have to make a decision to spend less than you make and contribute to your savings. I put every bonus into savings, any unexpected income into savings, every raise into savings. I have done this since 2007.

I was raised on welfare in a trailer park, to a single mom of 6, my father who I never knew was in prison. We were food insecure, I literally had to duct tape my shoes together to keep them from falling apart. I worked off the books at 13 and never stopped.

When I started getting ahead was when I started committing to savings. Now I’m old so the retiring early thing might not be possible, but I may be able to retire early”ish”
