I haven’t tested it because I haven’t had many issues myself but I wonder if this is an issue with the touch sensors in combination with the buttons. Could it be some people’s skin is more dry and not registering because of that? Maybe some games need to detect the presence of the finger before it will register the button press. I know some touch sensitive devices are problematic with cold/dry fingers.

I know in several games I have tried so far that the controller detects when I am merely touching (not pressing) the trigger and x buttons.

Someone should try and soak their hands in water for a minute to hydrate them better, dry off and then try. It’s a long shot, but just something that popped into my head.
