Was wondering what happened to Mr Jetz lately. Did a google news search, sorted by date. Sounds like he went down. lol.. Oh well, here's a compilation vid about him, from back in the good old days. lol

Here.. I found a story about it. Apparently they were all over the age of consent, 14, which isn't "kids".

After more than a month of testimony, a jury took less than four hours to convict Darrell Ackman of 14 prostitution, sex assault, and child pornography charges involving vulnerable teen girls, clearly rejecting his claim he believed they were adults.

Ackman, who represented himself at trial and was prone to frequent rambling tangents, was uncharacteristically mute after learning the verdict.

Ackman remains in custody and will be sentenced at a later date.

Justice Chris Martin, who had many heated exchanges with Ackman as he repeatedly pushed and crossed the boundaries of acceptable court behaviour, urged Ackman to secure a lawyer for sentencing.

"I would not recommend that you do that on your own," Martin said.

Five of Ackman's seven victims were between the ages of 13 and 17 at the time of his July 2012 arrest. Two of the underage girls have since died. Court heard police began monitoring Ackman's activities after seeing videos he posted as Mr. JetzTV on YouTube and online classified ads.

Much of the Crown's case hinged on proving Ackman knew the girls he was peddling as "escorts" were under 18.

Jurors were shown videos of Ackman having sex with a 14-year-old girl and a 17-year-old girl.

"I didn't know how old they were," Darrell Ackman testified last week. "I can only go on people's word and if they look adult and act adult and they are up all hours of the night ... I just didn't believe these girls were underage."

Prosecutors told jurors there was ample evidence Ackman knew the girls were under 18.

Court heard testimony Ackman told the girls to lie about their age and wouldn't use their pictures for online ads because they "looked young, really young, and someone's going to notice."

One victim testified she told Ackman she was 16, when she was really 14, to which Ackman replied: "I know you're lying ... It's fine, the younger the better."

Ackman claimed he was merely "a driver," the girls were "independent self-employed workers," and that he had no way of knowing the girls were having sex with men.

Ackman's evidence defied common sense, Crown attorney Alanna Littman told jurors in a closing address Friday.

"Mr. Ackman either knew or did not care how old the girls were," Littman said. "Mr. Ackman knew exactly what was occurring on calls that he arranged and there is no reasonable doubt on any of the charges before you."
