"WTF Happened to Movie Posters" guy defends Man of Steel

I am not talking about Reeves films, he's films didn't create rules and then threw them out the window. They didn't pretend. Snyder did, likes he's making Green Mile or something - Let's just kill his father there, Lois almost dies here, city get's leveled there, buss full of children almost drown here or and let's make Sup's kill someone, Noland doesn't like it, screw him, not like he knows anything about making movies.

RT measures how many critics gave movie above average score, 78% thought Crystal Skull was above average, if you have look at critics scores look at Metacritic, that score even shows up on IMDB, RT has a shady rating system and has been criticized multiple times about this.

That worked in the film's favor.

Did it? Having fans think it will be a disaster and no previous movies that created some kind of fan base and nostalgia like it was with Superman. How many people came and saw it regardless if it was going to be good or bad?

There were no "rules" for MoS, only rule that there was that Sup's don't kill anyone, he's a superhero for children, Batman was dark but even Batman wasn't that dark. This movie feature a flying alien that was sent here from futuristic planet in a tiny spaceship and can shoot lasers with his eyes. His disguise is wearing glasses, that is just ridiculous on so many levels. They made him break someones neck, imagine seeing that in Guardians of the Galaxy, you can't can you, because GotG is also a ridiculous movie but at least it's not kidding itself into thinking we are going to take it seriously.

Biggest complains was that movie was a mess. Sup's is still a boring character, his life is miserable, he let his father die, he was saving a dog. His father died because of a dog. He's just boring, nothing can hurt him, nothing can kill him, he will always win. Except for one thing, one thing out of everything in existence, kryptonite, his one boring overused weakness. I almost feel like going to church and asking someone why people people like this all boring, all powerful, CGI shooting alien that cannot be hurt.
