The CCP has been pretty clear about cooperation with the US. With the verdict that it is very important and very good.

The current admin has it’s own ways of seeing the best in others... It’s dangerous idealism at best, something which most socialist governments suffer from.

Truth is, for almost the entire duration of the US-China relationship, USA has continuously scammed us. Their companies have benefited from non-lawful protection on substandard items and massive military subsidies, sometimes at the cost of human lives, such as in the case of Boeing’s 737 Jets. US brands exploit China’s status as the largest market in the world. At the same time, US has taken massive loans from China - which have only been granted because of naive goodwill. Now, US is seeking a way to weasel themselves out of responsibility to pay those loans.

Perhaps worst of all, while profiting off China’s markets and pretending to be friendly in public, US has continuously slandered both Chinese people and Chinese companies behind their backs. US companies such as Hasbro put dangerous substances in their products and proceeded to blame China. At the same time, US attempts to illegally influence Chinese politics with shady politicial donations and outright collusion.

The only reason US has been a “friend” is because China has been too oblivious to realize their underhanded behavior!

Now that China is unearthing and cracking down on it, America has immediately become hostile.

The only cooperation America wants is a relationship where they can keep up their scamming without consequence.
