Additional Predictions:

  • Three months into the season the cardinals will be leading the central, the Padres the west, the Nationals the East. Then, the entire country of the United States will be revealed to be a giant ovular transmutation circle and Fullmetal Alchemist characters will attempt to stop the crest of blood from being fulfilled at every MLB stadium. Ed, Al, Mustang, and friends will take over the Mariners and attempt to stop the crests of blood from being carved, meanwhile Father spreads the humonculi and Central forces across the remaining teams. Luckily for Ed and Al, clapping transmutation is allowed by Commissioner Manfred who remains a mystifying character throughout this ordeal. In the end, all of the crests of blood are carved and Father plunges the world into darkness on the promised day (Game 7 of the world series in the 9th inning with the Mariners down by 3, bases loaded and 2 out). In the end, Greed jumps in to pinch hit for Al, whose automail had been failing him throughout the entire series after Winry went down with a concussion (Needless to say, Father was pitching dirty). Greed strikes out swinging, and father appears to be triumphant. Then, at the last second, it's revealed that the pitcher's mound is the center of the massive country-wide transmutation circle. At this point, Greed tries to jump in but Father moves to the batter's box which, by a twist of fate, was the true center. Greed dies along with everyone else. When all hope seemed lost, however, Commissioner Manfred steps in and rules that Father had run out the newly-implemented pitch clock (this was added about halfway through the season to avoid long transmutations during games). With this in mind, Father is forced to stop the ritual. Manfred rules that, not only was the game not truly completed, but the unique punishment for running out the pitch clock in game 7 of the World Series is that another hitter may pinch hit. Long story short, Von Hoenheim steps to the plate and hits a home run off of Father because he activated the reverse transmutation circle at the last second. And thus, the Mariners win the world series.
