why is your ruling party's support rate dropping?

There's the growing wealth disparity - prevalent across the world, but more so in Singapore

redistributing of wealth is commie shit tho

In the recent decades, there's been unhappiness about the increasing numbers of foreigners living and working in Singapore. Ten years ago, the government messaging to Singaporeans was "we need foreigners, we know better, you don't know how good you have it, just stfu and work for your lunch".

Well its easier to exploit foreign workers, they usually don't know their labour rights. Its a good idea to limit foreign domestic worker contact with their family, friend and other FDW
so they don't know their rights. They are also pretty cheap, they usually take jobs that singaporean will never take. I do hope that singaporeans will to ignore our nationality and unity with foreigner(not rich expats) because we are all working class.

There's the discouragement of ground-level activism, which is important for citizens to feel engaged in the society they live in. Decades of propaganda have turned the word "activism" into a bad word, and even if Singaporeans feel that activism is too disruptive, and are comfortable enough to not need to protest on the streets every other week, there's a subconscious part of them that's hurting from the lack of agency in their lives.

We cant just protest without being approval and there is only 1 designated place. A protest that is not distruptive isnt going get a lot of attetion and changes won't happen. Why change when you can just ignore it and go about your day.

By propaganda do you mean anti communism propaganda? In the past some of those "riots" were class based issues and also to remove political opponents. (i.e Hock Lee Bus riot, City hall riot, SMRT Bus drivers strike) It was practical for the then PAP to crushed any opposition to secure their power. They enact certain laws to prevent illegal public assembly. When they weaken the unions, our country became more attractive to foreign businesses. We dont have natural resources so it best exploit ourselves and our neighbours. If we let the communist party gain power, a foreign country would just do the exact same thing as PAP but with pro western leaders and not as rich.
