YouTuber vs Slumlord: Tenant Documents Horrible Living Conditions in Oakland Apartment Complex

this guy is overdramatic about everything

Not really. It truly feels like he's attempted to get these things resolved and what we see is some final moments where he's been forced to record.

confronts everybody he sees

Or we're simply seeing the footage which had to be taken after reasonable approaches failed.

He shows minor clips in his favor

The mold, water damage, safety hazards, garbage, plumbing problems, noise (that random siren his neighbor set up, c'mon), and general abuse by the property manager of the building doesn't seem minor.

He started by yelling at this neighbor for making too much noise at 10 PM on a Friday, seriously 10 PM on Friday.

His lease promised him quiet after 8PM. He signed on based on that being one of the things he'd get. He didn't get it. I totally feel he's justified in his actions.

Then, he starts calling the police at 8:01 PM (because the lease technically says to be quiet at 8) for a noise compant in OAKLAND!

You sound like the noisy neighbor. IT'S OAKLAND MAN, CALM DOWN.

But really, if you've ever dealt with a shady property management company, you'd know where he was coming from on this shit. You start out cordial and polite and hopes that everyone else will handle their jobs. No one does, and you keep getting fucked with over, and over, and over. Lies, delays, excuses, all while you get to suffer in some form. And all the while you know if you broke the lease you'd be hauled into court over it, kicked out, and forced to pay any fines dictated in the lease. Whereas the company can keep fucking around playing with itself and not doing anything. Their lawyers know the judges and the system. You don't have the money to fight it and even if you do win, now you've truly made an enemy of your property management so when they do finally fix the problems, you're now prime target.
