I'm on the fence here. It's most definitely wrong to judge about all male Syrian and Afghan men. Obviously, there are rapists in all countries and cultures. However, Arab men are overrepresented in sexual assault cases that happen in public spaces. It's likely also linked to cultural differences, which doesn't mean that all people from this culture are misogynistic, but some are to a dangerous degree. I think it's important to take this into account. We're playing into the hands of racists if we refuse to acknowledge a problem for fear of appearing racist. At some point, the usually ignorant claim of "you can't say anything anymore" will become true
