75MWDC solar plant in Mississippi

Ok, this thread seems to still be really worried about this, so I'll weigh in again. I'm from Mississippi and have family that owns a tree farm. In the southern half of the state, pine trees grow like weeds and it's covered in soft pine that is regularly clear-cut. Back in the 90's, there was a big push for people to plant pine trees as an investment and now, 20 years later a lot of this land is ready to cut and the price of the wood has cratered. It is very likely that someone just cut because it was time to cut and decided solar was a better option than replanting. This makes me very excited because the pine belt area also has a lot of oil and gas. It will be great for people to see an alternative.
