The fact that you lack any self awareness at all to understand why the experience was off-putting to someone like me, who surfs all over the world, rides motorcycles etc, means that this particular location and sport will ultimately be a very small niche sport.

In fact I would say this exactly validates the feeling I got when I went, and validates why an outfit would take an old plane that had serious problems before and fly it again. Everyone is so in love with themselves and their approach no one stops to question if it's the right thing. It's called groupthink. And it's fatal in so many situations I can't even tell you. Looks to be the same here.
