Hey guys! I have a question on base gear

It sounds like you're getting way ahead of the game here. Focus on the near. You said you need more skydives. Get those first. I am not a BASE jumper, but I've been around plenty of BASE to know that you're going to be far better off going into BASE with several hundred jumps than rushing to do the bare minimal 200 or whatever and then going straight to BASE. If you're serious about BASE, be serious with your skydiving first, especially canopy skills. Then when you're ready, find a reputable BASE FJC. I am more than confident gear purchasing will be covered in the class and then you can ask these questions to an actual BASE instructor and not skydivers on Reddit. BASE is a serious game and people die doing it on a regular basis. I wouldn't be in such a hurry.
