We're actually from a school in Jerusalem and the survey is part of our Religious Education class. We realize that the survey cannot be answered by everyone as many aren't religious. The reason we sought out Reddit was so that we could have as wide a reach as possible, which would give us the highest chance of getting enough responses to generate conclusive data. So, there really isn't anything that could be done about the availability of the survey. As for the purpose of the research, if you click on the link, there's a short explanation of why we are conducting a survey, but we may need to elaborate a bit, so thank you for the suggestion.
