Whelp. My uncle is a long time alcoholic and needs a new liver. Last night he got ambulanced 4 hours away to Charlotte where they think they can get him a liver, but the liver could not work or he legit could go back to drinking. He lives with my feeble granny who is also on her way out, and crazy/mean as ever, and yesterday she calls my dad saying that my uncle has been in the bathroom for several hours and wont answer or open the door, so my dad rolls up there and my uncle is naked, playing with the tread on the bottom of the rug. His ammonia levels were so high, he was literally tripping face, and tried to beat up my dad before they ambulanced him off. So I've just been thinking about death and mortality a lot lately, and how I don't want to be an old person, shitting the bed and out of my mind. Tomorrow is my 25th birthday, a quarter of a century, one third of the way through an average human life span, star dust and carbon and all the things I've done wrong, or didn't do at all, in that time. And my cousin is having a baby. Which should be a congratulatory event, but she is the most racist, spoiled, immature diva-brat in the world, she doesn't have enough love in her for a child, she's just going to eat it like an insect without resources. Cousin's been married/cohabitating for six months to the first dude she's ever lived with, she wants to do everything exactly like my older sister, my sister being the Christ child and just popped out another kid with more to come, and doesnt understand why I cant/dont want to travel to see every new miracle of our Lord that she spawns. She has an entire surrogate family up there anyways, laden with surrogate sisters just dying to hold that baby. The planet is so overpopulated, and the world is pretty fucked.
