Dont they call math the universal language for a reason? Doesnt matter what language you learn it in the principals remain the same.

English is about more than just the English language, it's about understanding how language is used.

Nz kids will be much better equipped for engaging with people on an international level if they speak more than one language and as I said, we know learning languages earlier in life helps build the skills necessary for learning other languages. It's an incredibly useful skill youd deny kids because of your prejudice.
