Indie perfume- am I doing this wrong?

leave a review about how the seller did their job. if you don’t like the scents… that’s not always necessarily their fault, but it very well could be! usually 12 would have at least 1 hit, but i’ve no idea your scent preferences, or what house you bought from. plus it’s triggering headaches, which is not a good sign.

it’s a lot of expectations in the indie game, and some really complex scents (or even simple ones) don’t smell so great right away (esp traveling in heat), or it can also depend on the ingredients. are they synthetic or natural? i do a declutter a couple times a year and sometimes after months of sitting a fragrance will turn into exactly what i hoped it to be. but this is not always the case. in no way am I invalidating your experience. i doubt any perfumer would be offended if you wrote you are waiting to see if the perfume grows on you in a review. a subtle way of saying maybe it’s not for you - but if you feel you got an inferior product(s), i’d take that up with a message to the seller instead of feedback. indie perfume involves a lot of hits and/or misses, i’m sorry you didn’t have a good experience.
