After day 1

I'm a fan period, but sometimes you gotta be honest despite how big a fan you are. Here is a simple and honest observation. Danny sounded great as always, Justin sounded clean AF and complemented the drums. Adam with his typical and awesome sound. Maynard sounded great as well, but something was off. Too much a perfect circle and this time around you can tell he added his vocals after the music was done. Normally this fact is hidden within the badassery of the song. When listening to the song multiple times I just keep getting this feeling that the vocals were forced in. Previous albums it was so natural and fit so well. I don't hate the song at all, I just don't feel like it was TOOL at 100%. Again love the song and I'm happy they are back. Can anyone else relate? I am having a hard time expressing my feelings towards this song.
