Musically the album is there. It's no surprise that Danny Carey absolutely annihilates it. Some of the guitar work, especially on the tempest is excellent. Justin's bass is good

Maynard seems very disconnected from this album, definitely more so than any other Tool album. His melody lines are mostly pretty solid when he's present, but he's used so sparingly throughout this album, that I feel like it doesn't really rise to the effort of the rest of the album.

I personally felt there were issues with some of the production choices made on the title track that thankfully weren't present in the rest of the album.

Overall it's a pretty decent effort.
