Do you agree with Trump that Obama founded ISIS?

You're a fan of history but sarcastically joke about how there isn't reason to fear presidents like Jackson?

Andrew Jackson didn't campaign on exterminating Native Americans. It was inevitable given booming population growth and rapid encroachment on Western lands by American pioneers.

You're not making any real comparisons here. I'm talking about wiping out quid pro quo exchanges like the House of Representatives deal in 1824. I'm talking about wiping out party corruption by implementing the spoils system. I'm talking about eliminating the pervasive influence of banking on national politics. I'm talking about the proliferation of suffrage, away from the elites, and towards the population (even if it was still incomplete). I'm talking about keeping the Union together by stomping on the desires of the regional elite to secede.

What Andrew Jackson did to ignore John Marshall and ethnically cleanse the Five Nations was brutal and inexcusable from a moral perspective, but that doesn't make him a fascist. And if you dig deeper, nearly every president has some sort of massive faux pas. I think what Barack Obama and George W. Bush did to the Middle East may have caused just as much suffering, if not more.

The conflict between the US Government and the Five Civilized Tribes is the clash of civilizations. This is a scenario totally unlike any fascist environment ever in history, and I challenge you to provide one coherent comparison besides "ethnic groups got hurt". Well, history is filled of one society triumphing over another. That doesn't mean they were all motivated by a virulently ethnocentric ideology. We are past civilization clashes thanks to general abundance.

If you cared about history and trump and Co being painted as fascists you shouldn't sarcastically joke about how a president that ignored the judiciary and killed thousands of Americans due to policies targeting their ethnic group?

Good job anachronistically painting Andrew Jackson as a fascist (LMFAO). Good job ignoring Theodore Roosevelt. Good job ignoring Ronald Reagan.

Why should I continue to have this conversation if you're going to butcher historical facts and political movements to suit your agenda?
