Do you not think this would be analogues to the fall of the soviet union? Would it not demonstrate to America's competitors that Western liberalism has failed?

You call your President the leader of the free world, can you not just sort yourselves out and take the lead again? We (the west, Europe and most of the common wealth ) all had a nice thing going on, you guys got to do whatever you wanted, illegal wars, endless drone strikes, massive international surveillance programs, and we had your back but now you guys have gone all weird and insular. Do you not want to be the Defenders of the Western ideals anymore? The bastion of Freedom, shall we unironically give these titles to Germany?
