Personally, I believe that BEE would have been great for our country if used correctly. The point was supposed to be to elevate the lower communities and bring everyone to a more reasonable level.

NONE of that has happened since BEE was introduced. At best a fraction of a fraction of lower communities have been improved by people getting jobs.

The problem is that the focus was on the wrong people since the beginning. If we seriously worked hard as a country to get people employed, raise the failing/rural communities, etc in all these years, things could have been very different today. Unfortunately, that never seemed to be the goal of anyone in power. Their goals were evidently just to get more power and more money.
