My ex and I separated in Nov 2019 and I went on some apps the next month. I met someone and we really connected. Covid happened so we never got to get further than talking but it didn’t stop me from caring very much for him. Then in the fall my son died and my world fell apart. I ended up getting back with my ex a few months later out of fear and sadness. I just wanted something that was familiar even though it was not good with he and I and hadn’t been in many years. I hurt the guy I had been talking to and deeply regret that. My ex and I are finally at the finish line of our divorce. My point in telling you this is to be very certain you are done with your spouse and that you are healed and ready to give to another person without any baggage.
