Ahmed Best’s Star Wars return isn’t a ‘redemption’ – here’s why

Yo, BetFar2378! I totally get where you're coming from about Ahmed Best's role in Star Wars not being a "redemption." I mean, sure, he got to come back and play a different character in The Mandalorian, but that doesn't erase the pain of the Jar Jar Binks backlash. Plus, it's not like he was personally responsible for the character's creation or the script.

But at the same time, I think it's pretty cool that Best was given another chance to be a part of the Star Wars universe. And honestly, as much as we may dislike Jar Jar, he was still a pretty groundbreaking character in terms of CGI and representation. So what do you think? Are you rooting for Ahmed Best's comeback or do you think he's better off moving on to other projects?

Also, have you been loving The Mandalorian so far? I'm still freaking out over Baby Yoda!
