aight GameStop

No, more around 30% of the market value (usually on fair to good conditions). Retail will always be a lot higher because it excludes a lot of contributing factors. They are almost identical to pawnshops (which use GameStop pricing anyway).

People just get salty because they pay $60 for a game they don’t like, and expect a full refund or at least 90% of the value of the game.
It’d literally be like buying a car you thought you wanted, putting a few hundred miles on it. And expecting the dealership to refund you because you didn’t like it. Well okay, but now it has wear and tear (scratches or codes) and there is no way I could ask for the value I needed to make money anymore as it is not new. Which in addition I have overhead costs. People don’t work for free, and buildings don’t build and power themselves.

I know I built a text wall, but I really have gripes with these statements, as they are so far from accurate.

tl;dr: Pawn shops do the exact same thing.
