YTA. In fact, you’re such an asshole that this made me physically hurt.

Number one: why do you care so much about your daughters nipples. Why would she even need permission to get them in the first place if she was a legal adult when she got them?? Are you overly uncomfortable because they’re more intimate? Dude get a hobby, these piercings are cute and it’s not as if piercings are permanent. If she wanted to take them out in the future she can, and the holes will heal up just fine. If not, so what! How much time are you planning on looking at your daughters chest for it to be an issue?

Number two: SHE IS AN ADULT and she can do what she wants!! She’s clearly been great at looking after the piercings since she’s had them for so long and not had any infections. I’ve personally had to remove a cartilage piercing because it got infected a bunch despite being super careful and clean with it. She’s clearly going above and beyond to keep the jewelry clean and the skin safe.

You and your wife are setting an awful example as parents right now. You may not agree with what your daughter is doing, but to threaten her by kicking her out of her home for something as mundane as a piercing???? Do you two even love your kids????

Let your daughter express herself. She’s clearly an experimental soul and to even consider destroying a parent-child relationship over a piercing is insane.
