AITA for refusing to take my SIL on a romantic getaway?

Absolutely, this is incredibly unreasonable and I am also leaning towards very manipulative as well. (This woman most definitely needs some serious therapy either way imo.)

Coming from someone who became a widow at a young age, I could never even fathom thinking or even saying what she said..."crying at her husband's grave while OP/her best friend is having a love affair in Paris"?!? I have been nothing but happy for loved ones, who are happy in their relationships, my grief is simply a separate thing.

Not to mention the love and support the family has given her, and her child. This is clearly a very caring, kind and compassionate family, who are offering her every opportunity they are able, in life.
