Yeah, but the likelihood that she goes into labor the two days he’s gone and that during her labor there are complications that are worst case scenario are suuuuuper slim. It’s calculated risks. He could leave to go see his dying grandfather at 7 months pregnant and she could have complications while he’s gone, it’s just unlikely. He’s not asking to take a boys trip to Vegas for a week, he’s asking for a day, maybe two, to drive 5 hours to say goodbye to someone he’ll never get to see again. And in all likelihood, chances are very good he’ll say his goodbyes and get back and wait a few more days/weeks to see his daughter born.
