AITA for yelling at my brother asking him to have some f*cking emphaty towards me?

It's a very fair comment and nothing to do with hetero-normative. People are assuming that the brother learned his behaviour from the dad when I can find no information given about the dads behaviour nor even when/how he died. Why is it acceptable to assume the dad was an AH who set a terrible example when all we know is he is dead? I think thats a terrible train of thought. There are many more justifiable assumptions that could explain why he behaves so badly rather just than blaming the dad, I just gave one clearly proving the assumption the dad was an AH is impossible, being the dad might have died so long ago the brother couldn't have learned the behaviours from him. That's nothing to do with needing a male role model but showing if that is the case the assumption it was the dads behaviour is a total leap.
