Alexis Sanchez has been part of more goals than any other player in the Premier League (12 goals+7 assists)

What does coaching a big, rich, successful club offer? Fame, prestige and wealth. What does Bielsa seek? None of those things.

Bielsa's response to the falsely perceived correlation between "being/working for the best" and being happy: "being the best takes happiness out of you: hours with your wife, with your friends, you miss parties, fun." This is what he said to a young player from Olympique Marseille with high potential for fame and high earnings: "You have a very big problem, huge one. You have money but you don't have any time to enjoy it. Success takes away the ability to be happy. But ultimately, it all comes down to a choice"

Bielsa really doesn't give a rat's ass about prestige and he also has very strong and rather logical views on capitalism and how it's infiltrated its way into the sport. While coaching Chile, he visited earthquake victims and defended kids who stole footballs from his practice (saying "who hasn't stolen a football as a kid?")...while also doing everything possible to avoid shaking hands with former Chilean president and billionaire, Sebastian Pinera, when he interrupted their practice to politically gain support by wishing the team good luck. Also avoided shaking hands with Bilbao's president and the Spanish prince at the Copa del Rey. He left Chile because the 3 top clubs monopolized over 70% of profit generated from the league, he thought this was unfair and asked for it to be changed, the federation's president supported him. All clubs' presidents voted against him, except a couple, he and the federation president who appointed him were removed soon after (even though having been the best coach in Chile's history) 2) Inter Milan offered him a contract offering more money and better players but he had already agreed to work with Chile and since he's a man of his word (in every sense) he stuck to his word. 3)
