Allow us to dual wield dragon pickaxes to get through this absolutely awful skill faster

Honestly I was thinking about it the other day, I don’t know how popular of an idea it’d be but Runecrafting as a whole needs a rework to the XP rates. You should not be able to max out XP per hour at level 23(? Whatever lavas are). I know people with 99 already would feel devalued but truth be told the fact that 78k XP an hour is max is kinda pathetic when just yesterday I wasn’t even trying at FM and was getting nearly 150k XP an hour.

To me, it isn't even XP rates that are the problem. Rather, as someone who is thinking of training the skill, like it's a combination of things, right?

Like: - The EXTREME hostility towards ANY kind of reasonable/relaxed training method. Like NO way to just chill and relax while your character crafts runes. They should just add Zeah-style essence mines near altars imo. - The "FEEL" of the skill. This is hard to explain, what I mean is when you craft runes, does it feel impactful? When you get an individual RC level, does it feel rewarding? For example, each Mining level increases your chance to mine ores, but RC only does so at magical milestone levels, so not every level necessarily even feels rewarding every time you level up. - Some Altars are just badly designed, it's really bad from ironman perspective, if I want to craft Chaos runes I can't since I can't go into the wildy. But it's not just that it's in wilderness, it's also a very long way just to craft what, some chaos runes, which are like 100~ GP in shop? So no reason for normal players to craft them, nor for ironmen as ironmen can also buy them from shop, but I don't see why it couldn't be changed, you know? I could go afk somewhere and get GP from combat and buy runes, but I can't afk alternatively RC, which is silly and weird, since best way to get runes should be from RC.

Now I get some people love to RC nats and yadda yadda. But I think most people just want to be able to train the skill in a TOLERABLE way. Just because they want a higher or 99 RC because of diaries or whatever, doesn't mean they will craft nats once they get there. Some might, sure, but I think those who already want it already have the RC levels required to do so.
