Most of that time. It literally takes a few seconds to land a flurry that can put someone in the hospital, break their jaw, or cause permanent damage and Jeremy was completely helpless and vulnerable for those few seconds.

And yet that rarely happens in MMA even when people are actually mounted. He was not completely helpless, he was actively trying to get a submission. You just can't see that because you know nothing about grappling.

A boxer in his position, and it looks very much like Mike is trained as a boxer at least partially... a boxer is just going to unload blows to the face. No need to risk further submissions.

First, I highly doubt Mike was going to a boxing gym at any point in his career. He most likely went to an MMA gym like most amateur fighters now. According to you he was so obviously dominate on the ground. It should have been no problem for somebody so dominate and superior at grappling to submit their inferior opponent. So which is it now?

Superior striking, not grappling. Jeremy wanted to fight the whole time, and was given very little time to do what he wanted to do. He wasn't even tired when the fight was stopped, and it's clear he didn't want it to be stopped. There's no way to know whether Mike would have been able to continue defending the takedowns, if he would have gassed, or what. All we see is that he bitched out against a guy who was clearly willing to keep going.

It's a fight. You said you boxed as a kid in one post. I really don't believe that at this point, or by kid you mean when you were 5. I've taken more damage than those few shots Jeremy took in a single night of training. I would be fucking fuming if I were him.
