I guess if you use these ingredients to make a taco you're white and doing it wrong, and using ground beef means you're poor.

Idk, I mean, I’m white, and I cook for a living(think like New England seafood cuisine). Me and my buds that I work with are big taco heads, get together and make authentic tacos all the time of all different kinds/styles(Al pastor, birria, cochinita, carnitas, chorizo, I’m sure someone will tell me these are also not authentic enough). We call the tacos in the meme “Gringo tacos”(really they are Tex-Mex, I know) but we still love making those too. They’re all fucking delicious. We even love making Taco Bell runs, just as much as we love making runs to local authentic tacorias and trucks. I’m originally from TX/OK(where my family still resides) so I guess besides the tacos being delicious, it kind of reminds me of home.

That comment is just… yikes. Sure, Tex-mex isn’t authentic but food doesn’t have to be authentic to be fucking delicious.
