It's amazing how much better my health is after quitting meds

I graduated from high school with an egomaniac who was the child of revolting self-righteous working-class people. Her take-no-prisoners, Lisa Simpson, best-at-everything life pre-graduation began with acceptance to every Ivy League joint she applied to, followed soon after by marriage to her adoring boyfriend's best friend. Even small potatoes high school awards no one really cared about, she plundered. As a psychiatrist, she has wandered the U.S., an over-educated bag lady, until she ended up back at the Ivy crypt that hatched her medical degree. I get chills thinking of the lives a solipsist such as this had to ruin.

I wish the BEST to OP, who is spot-on right from beginning to end of this short post.

One thing many patients of psychiatrists miss, and I mean really miss, is that psychiatry (unlike say nephrology) combines secular western religion with pharmacology. This frenemy was regarded as a shaman by virtue of the fact she was a "winner." She won fucking everything only because she grabbed success through self-promotion which as a "healer" gave her the right to tinker with other people's brains and souls.

If you think psychiatry isn't a religion, are you ever wrong. The OP escaped a cult, the only cult the U.S. sanctions with no qualms ever about what it preaches--chemical lobotomy.
