Wrongly diagnosed with BPD

If they stop diagnosing bpd so much and the person isn't diagnosed cptsd, the next step would actually be schizotypal disorder. I'd actually hate to get a Schizotypal diagnosis because the doctor didn't want to be sexist. On the surface you may not see the connection between these 2 disorders but, they are actually both borderline diagnoses. Only one is just a cluster b and the other is considered close to schizophrenia. I was never diagnosed schizotypal, but it was evident from my records the doctor was on his way. I was actually overly friendly to the point of almost being sugary. Acted like the doctor was my best friend, very clingy. My records often report a " constricted " affect and yet make no mention of patient's attitude towards examiner. Imagine constricted affect - very friendly, doesn't even make sense. Once they diagnose this, they only need 2 negative schizophrenia symptoms to give somebody a schizophrenia diagnosis. Meds make you lazy, your emotions flatline- you now have schizophrenia.
