Americans Dislike Both Biden and Trump

Because government intervention removed preexisting conditions as a reason to deny coverage and eliminated life time limits so people with chronic conditions didn’t have to just accept that they had to die when they ran out of money. Because it gave healthcare to millions of people who didn’t have coverage. Of course it was made more expensive, and it was made as expensive as it possibly could be because the way it was implemented didn’t incorporate any possible cost saving measures because that was the only way to pass it as “bipartisan” legislation. The ACA is an idiot’s way of implementing healthcare reform that’s mostly beneficial to corporations before people and reflects greed and avarice more than compassion and care for our neighbors, colleagues, and fellow Americans who suffer misfortune and/or bad luck in their health.

There are costs to everyone in improving coverage but we could all save 30% on administrative costs plus more savings on prescriptions and other cost controls if we had medicare for all as a base option with private options being around to complement basic healthcare. But we fight that tooth and nail because of propaganda and ideology. Don’t blame high insurance costs on Democrats, blame them on the real culprits: corporate greed, a corrupted money oriented political system that puts profits before people, and the political stubbornness and willful ignorance of half of the American populace every time they are confronted with the choice between the minimal effort to rethink their ill informed political ideologies or help someone else who might need help from society to survive bad luck in a cutthroat world.
