Amy & Storm Bailey - Week Of December 06, 2021

I would never be influenced by a hun because I know what they are, but I agree with you. My baby is almost a year old and I gained 50 lbs. went from being the best shape of my life to pregnant and I rapidly gained weight even though I ran at least 3 miles a day up until my induction date.

When I got home and I still looked 9 months pregnant, in our family Christmas pics I was a swollen hot mess, and then as I lost fluid weight and got into my real weight, about 35-40 lbs higher than my prepregnancy weight, I was desperate and depressed. I have always struggled with weight but I had it under control since 2016 and then pregnancy literally ruined it, and there was nothing I could do because I had to feed my body/baby.

So yeah, although I could never be influenced by a fake health coach, I was extremely vulnerable early postpartum. I started out with walks and then some light light band work, but I counted my calories. Once I was feeling more like myself, around 3m pp, I started slowly running after being assessed and treated by a pelvic floor pt.

I feel for amy, it sucks getting big and wanting to “bounce back” but literally my mantra daily was “it took 9 months to gain the weight, it’ll take at least 9 months to take it away”.

I am lucky because my support system knew my goals and helped me reach them. I lost pregnancy weight by 6m pp but I did so safely. But I was extremely desperate to lose the weight and I wanted it gone immediately.

So TLDR: you are right, although she is not telling people to “drink bleach” she is modeling that it is possible to workout this early pp, lose some weight, and there are no claimed consequences as of yet (we know she has DR but this has yet to be discovered by her)
