I (a human male) had worked in this all female environment for a few years and it was incredibly toxic. My mental health was suffering. The year I quit my wife and I had adopted our son, that Christmas I had booked two weeks off, we had an amazing time, I loved every minute of Christmas with a kid in the house. When I returned to work I had 6 or 7 emails from my boss asking why there were two bags of paper recycling left by the front door (not my responsibility) and requesting that I attend a meeting to discuss my work the very next day.

I immediately called my former boss, asked if he had any vacancies and walked in that meeting with a letter of resignation.

It took me two years of therapy to undo the damage caused by working there.
