As an Israeli who is growing up in an orthodox Jewish school in Israel, What is being hidden from me?

I'd like to applaud you for asking this and for researching the other side of the story. This is always the path to a better understanding :)

I guess videos like this one is something that isn't widely broadcasted within the more humane societies of your country, and it is a very important thought to have throughout the investigation of the conflict, that on both sides there are many, many people who do not want this conflict, who don't want bloodshed, and that seek a true peace between your two countries.
Sadly, there are also, on both sides, people who are pure evil, blinded by hate and the history of conflict.

I am Norwegian, and thus live in a country that was heavily invaded by Germany in the second world war. Under the invasion, there where formed many groups of rebellions, fighting against the German expansion and their motives within Norway, and it was often times hopeless and done in pure desperation. The Germans called these groups 'terrorists', because they fought for a land that was no longer their own - it was German land in the eyes of a German. But what about through the eyes of the Norwegian people?

I would like to point out that Hamas's tactics have many times showed way more brutal and inhumane than that of our Norwegian rebellions, and so I can not empathize with Hamas, at all, but I sure can symphatize with them. Because althought it is stupid, helpless, futile... It is just cups of water thrown into the desert. What Hamas is doing is very much working against their own goals, but it is done out of desperation, faced with the overwhelming, technologically advanced, and very much hostile IDF.

To put things in perspective, the entire Palestinian GDP in 2012 was 6.80 billion dollars, while the budget for IDF alone that same year was $15.2 billion, and has been even higher in previous years.

The conflict of Palestine and Israel is sticks and stones against tanks and F-16's.
