yep, being black and moving from America to Canada, I can see how we are raised to feel like hunted animals. you get out into the real world (places that aren't primarily black) and you kind of feel insane because everything is so normal I still have to remind myself often that 9/10 any racism that I could perceive is imaginary. I talk to my mom about race issues and she sounds insane to me now. I chose the username spellcrafting because words and images are powerful enough to hypnotise humans into utter stupidity. I'd like to say that I think racism in America is spellcrafting perpetuated by our own communities.
