The other thing you could do is make pet dungeons or rooms, and tame pets, but then put the pets in your home/lair/dungeon. And then you could get more pets, and keep adding to them. You were limited to how many at once if I recall, but you could actually make "pet zoos".

Hopefully there is a game that has many of the same features I am looking for. No MMORPG does, no singleplayer RPG does as far as I know. Pokemon is NOT what I am looking for, because lands of hope was far more than just a pet collecting game, its just...and it was definitely very fantasy, not anime style. A sci-fi game like it would be okay too, but I liked the fantasy aspect. I also liked being a necromancer with a horde of undead (not a stupid necromancer with one pet. WTF kinda necromancer is that...the Twilight of necromancers? REAL Necromancers have hordes of undead :P or I could even be a Druid with a party of all animals, and that was really fun too. I even designed a druid style forest home in lands of hope. Also, no ultima online isn't what I am looking for either. For one, the neon bright colored pets everywhere kinda kill it for me, and I don't like pvp that much, so going to a private server of the old UO with pvp isn't very fun to me. And you can't really be a necromancer in UO as far as I know, or a druid with a a huge party of animals. You can only have one single pet at a time. And its kinda boring to me on top of all that, I didn't find playing UO was very fun. But I can't really find anything like lands of hope at all.

I'm guessing this is gonna be like the city of heroes of gaming...no game really like city of heroes (champions online is very meh compared to what city of heroes was, and that other super hero game whatever its called is worse, DC online I think). So I have a feeling, that lands of hope/forlorn online is one of a kind that I won't ever find again :(...but I'm posting here in case there is something very similar to it
