Do any other women feel like their BDD really kicks in during their period?

What I honestly think (though research has been back and forth on this) is that facial symmetry does actually slightly change throughout our cycle; being the most symmetric during ovulation. Like I said, some research supports this and some doesn’t so I don’t really know for sure but it makes a lot of sense to me. Because I swear I see those subtle changes. I don’t think anyone else picks up on it though. I also retain more fluid during my period and I can tell I retain some fluid in my face too during this time.

So all in all I really just try to be patient with myself because periods just kinda suck. I try to accept it’s honestly normal to feel gross during that time of the month. Usually I feel a lot more confident in myself the day after and I always look forward to that.
